Gyeongbokgung Palace

Gyeongbokgung Palace is the royal palace of Joseon Dynasty in Sejongro, Seoul, Korea. It was built in 1395, 4th year of King Taejo. Gyeongbokgung means ‘Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven’. It was destroyed by fire during Imjin War (Japanese Invasions, 1592-1598) but all of the palace buildings were later restored by the Heungseondaewongun during the region of King Gojong (1852-1919). Famous places in Palace is Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, Hyangwonjeong Pond and Geunjeongjeon.  The government ministry district and main buildings of Gyeongbokgung Palace formed heart of the capital city of Seoul and represented the sovereignty of the Joseon Dynasty.

N Seoul Tower

N Seoul Tower is one of the famous landmarks, night view and multi-cultural venues in Seoul. The top of the tower is almost 480 m and tower’s own height is 236.7 m. At the top of a building, visitors can see beautiful Seoul at a glance.

Hangang Park was built from 1982 to 1986, with the Hangang River Development Progect and in 2007 Hangang Renaissance Progect was launched to develop Hangang Park. Hangang Park is environmently friendly and energizing space. In Hangang Park, there is an abundance of sport facilities such as soccer fields, skateboarding and in-line skating parks, tennis courts, hiking/biking trails. Also water related sports like water skiing, yachting and boat yachting are available. Especially Hangang cruise is very famous and popular.

Lotte World Adventures

Lotte World is a popular recreation complex in Seoul. 7.3 million people visit this place each year. It was opened on July 12, 1989. It consists of the indoor theme park and outdoor amusement park (Magic Island). Large shopping malls, hotel, Korean folk museum and sports facilities are located in Lotte World. Lotte World Tower is very near here.

Hwaseong Fortress

Hwaseong Fortress was designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. It was built from 1794 to 1796. It is a 5.52 km fortress from Suwon city of Paldal-gu to Jangan-gu and it is made up of 4~6 m walls. It was built by King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty to honour his father and realize strong royalist politics. It was designed by Jeong Yakyoung, a renowned leader of Silhak movement. Hwaseong Fortress has military, political and commercial functions. It has greatly influenced the development of Korean architecture, urban planning, landscaping and arts.

Everland is the largest theme park in South Korea. It is located at the Everland Resort in Yongin. It receives 7.3 million visitors annually and was ranked 6th in the world for amusement park attendance in 2014. Everland includes a zoo and water park (Caribbean Bay). It is operated by Samsung C&T Corpotation. Everland is famous for beautiful garden, zoo, festival and roller coaster. T Exprees, wooden roller coaster is the most famous roller coaster in Everland. It is the 6th longest wooden coaster in the world (1,779 m long).

 Chinese people need a Visa to visit Korea. An electronic visa which can be applied and granted via the Visa Portal. However, applicants can apply for their e-visas for only certain status of stay. e-Visa is introduced to reduce inconvenience many visa applicants face, which caused by an in-person visit to a Korean diplomatic mission in their countries of residence.
